• create a false identity or forged e-mail address or header, or otherwise attempt to mislead others as to the identity of the sender or the origin of the message;
• transmit through HERMES unlawful, harassing, libellous, abusive, threatening, harmful, vulgar, obscene or otherwise objectionable material of any kind or nature;
• transmit any material that may infringe the intellectual property rights or other rights of third parties, including trademark, copyright or right of publicity;
• reproduce the whole or any part of HERMES in any format without written permission of the network secretariat;
• transmit any material that contains viruses, Trojans, worms, time bombs, cancel bots, or any other harmful or deleterious programs;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to HERMES, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the platform, through password mining or any other means; or
• interfere with another member's legitimate use of HERMES or another entity's legitimate of similar services.

This portal is protected against viruses. However, the virus scanner may not be able to detect or repair all viruses and variants. Please be aware that there is a risk involved whenever downloading files from the portal to your computer or sending attachments to others, and that HERMES is not responsible for any damages caused.
